i have been looking through a viewfinder for many, many years.

i remember it began in my early teens on a boring walk with my parents, and it was me who ended up carrying the 'family camera'.

i started to snap away at power line towers; the reflections in car mirrors; lazy cats in the sun; and more, until the film was used up.

when the film was developed i had to explain to my father why there were only 10 family photos and 25 'wasted' photos!

for my next birthday i was given a kodak instamatic by my parents - and so it was, that the journey began.
